Same icons, new name: Sanscons
9.02.06 @ 2:29 pmMy poor choice of naming led to a few bumps in the road for my new icon set. The new name for said icons is now Sanscons. I’ve created an alternate page which will from this point on carry any updates - so please change your bookmarks and del.icio.us posts.
After talking to Dan about this issue, I have nothing but respect for him. He’s a really solid guy and I’m glad we were able to work things out.

No, it wasn’t about that. It was just a series of coincidences and misunderstandings that led to this. All said, everything is just fine and dandy.

yeah, i know it wasnt about that but rather the coincidences.
i just happened to be talking to a friend over AIM today and we brought up the subject about paying for typefaces and his company nor himself not being able to afford them…
i told him about your work and he actually made that comment that i posted above. compliments from other designers should not be left unspoken.

despite some of the crappy comments you may be receiving, the fact that you’re not trying to profit from anything says everything about you. there are so many poor designers who have to steal fonts out of necessity (like me.) for anyone to own your font legally and free of charge is a breath of fresh air and a true gift to the design community. this brings to mind the time that trent reznor released his single free of charge for anyone to remix or even destroy. it was revolutionary!!
